my sixwordlove story: My best friend left me heartbroken.
Of course, one can conclude that this never was a true friendship because ultimately a friend is someone you can trust and confide in, not one that arouses suspicion and pain. But I guess that’s a lesson to learn, keep your feet on the ground and don’t trust easily. That has always been my aphorism. Yet it continues to be my mistake: falling for sweet, hollow words. It’s certainly exhausting, but I guess I stumbled upon it, for been foolish and naive. I can’t say I won’t miss my “best friend” because it would be a lie to say I didn’t. Distancing yourself from someone you cared about is such a hard thing to do, but trust me I had practice. You don’t want to lose them, but they are with someone (rightfully theirs I might add) so you distance yourself, and give your heart time to heal.
It is time to move on because again this is just a chapter in your life and in time, this too shall pass. Take a deep breath and let go.

DAY 6- A picture of your favorite memory.
My mom took me to an Enrique Iglesias concert for my 18th birthday. <3 It was an incredible night and we met up with some of her friends (some of which are hilarious :D).
